Standard Cards

There are many types of Birthday Card that people will send to each other but here are the traditional forms of Birthday Cards;

Standard Greeting Cards: The definition of a standard greeting card is that it is simply printed on a high-quality paper with a high GSM and the shape tends to be rectangular. The card will be folded down the middle to ensure that the card stands with ease on display allowing people to see the picture or motif on the front sheet. Inside is a printed message that is appropriate to the person that you have bought the card for and there will also be a  blank space for the sender to personalise the card with a message specifically tailored for the person who is to receive the card.

Talking Cards; Based on the same principle as the standard greeting card the talking, or musical, card contains a microchip that is activated when the card is opened and the card relays the message. The message is often the recital of Happy Birthday in a comedy voice or perhaps a catchphrase of the character displayed upon the card itself. These cards are very popular but are more expensive so are often only given on Birthdays that are classed as landmark occasions.
